The beaches near to  the holiday home La Mimosa

All of the coastal villages in the province of Granada  have their own very different beaches. At only a quarter of an hour from Gualchos there is a pretty little bay surrounded by rocks called “ la Rijana ”, where in the Summer there is a small bar serving drinks and tapas,  paellas & fried fish. 

The closest beach to Gualchos is in “Castell de Ferro”, at only  7 km from the village, roughly 10 minutes by car. 

For those who prefer a swimming pool, there is a free open air pool, with a small bar where drinks and meals are very reasonably priced. It is on the road to “Lujar” at  13 km . Surrounded by hills where if you are lucky, you can spot wild mountain goats.
